KULR Technology Expands Bitcoin Treasury, Introduces Key Performance Metric

KULR Technology Group (NYSE: KULR), a leader in advanced energy management, has expanded its Bitcoin Treasury with an additional $21 million investment, bringing its total bitcoin acquisitions to $42 million. These purchases were made at an average price of $98,393.58 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
This move aligns with the company’s Bitcoin Treasury Strategy, announced in December 2024, dedicating up to 90% of surplus cash reserves to bitcoin.
KULR also introduced a new Key Performance Indicator (KPI), “BTC Yield,” to measure the accretive impact of bitcoin holdings on a per-share basis. The metric evaluates the period-to-period percentage change in bitcoin holdings relative to fully diluted shares outstanding.
From its initial bitcoin purchase to January 2025, KULR achieved an impressive BTC Yield of 93.7%, underscoring its strategic focus on driving shareholder value through cryptocurrency investments.
